HomeRun PR was given the mission to support the reveal of Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous with the goal of launching a successful Kickstarter campaign in North America and the UK during a 4 month communication campaign from December 2019 to March 2020. On top of managing media and influencer relations on behalf of Owlcat games during this time frame, the activities consisted of the distribution of 5 press releases, a global press tour and media booking for Pax East. 

In total, the campaign generated 503 articles, corresponding to 5,480,111,600 media impressions. 28% of the articles were published before the start of the Kickstarter campaign . The rest of the placements originated from the crowdfunding communication campaign outreach efforts and the Pax East hands-on impressions. Focusing on media outlets specialized in PC Gaming and RPG games, HomeRun PR’s team secured multiple placements with Top Tier video game publications and 2 exclusives with PCGamesN and PC Gamer.
